[ Nature’s Poetry]

Typography has always been close to my heart and these designs pay homage to my graphic design background. I first came up with the idea for flowers-on-tulle letterforms in 2018 when I designed a W for International Women’s Day. Since then I have explored how floral patterns can flow inside typographic shapes, and how the type and flowers can combine to create a language of their own, a kind of nature’s poetry. All the artworks below were created with a selection of dried and preserved plant species and vary in size from 25cm x 25cm to 60cm x 60cm.
